
Lavender Suarez is a sound healing practitioner, meditation teacher and artist based in New York City that has been assisting individuals, couples, and groups with their holistic wellness goals since 2014.
Lavender is the author of "Transcendent Waves: How Listening Shapes Our Creative Lives" (2020, Anthology Editions) which delves into how listening to the world around you and your inner self can foster and develop any creative practice.
Lavender specializes in working with creative entrepreneurial people on their wellness and inspirational goals to help them generate new ideas while feeling their best. She has hosted sound baths and workshops at major museums and cultural institutions including MoMA, The Whitney, Hirshhorn, The Brooklyn Botanic Garden, Museum of The Moving Image, and The Rubin Museum. Lavender has extensive experience educating teenagers about the power of sound and meditation from the joyful interactive workshops she has taught at The Brooklyn Public Library, Museum of the Moving Image, and Kites Nest (Hudson, NY).
